FLOCCULANT is highly effective coagulant for general water clarification, with particular application to swimming pools after filling or when excessively turbid. Used to clear dirty swimming pool water.

Due to FLOCCULANTS granular form, it is best premixed and the concentrated solution then added to the raw water. Dosage rates should be calculated on the basis of 50gms Flocculant over 1000 litres of water. For specific applications steps should be taken as follows:

How to use Flocculant to treat or Clear Swimming Pool Water

Concentrated premix solution should be poured around the edges of the pool or place FLOCCULANT granules in the pump strainer then start the pump and keep running for 2-3 hours allowing particles to settle. Switch off the pump for 3-4 hours and when particles are totally settled: vacuum sediments from the floor. Flocculant can also be used as a filter aid to add sparkle to the pool water. This can be achieved by weekly dosage of 1-2 Kgs in the pump strainer.

 How to use Flocculant to treat Consumption Water

Pour concentrated premix solution into the raw water and mix then allow the water to settle for 2-3 hours. When settled, drain off the clarified water taking care not to disturb the resultant sediment. The sediment should then be drained to waste.
